Candidate Pipeline

Search Profiles

Profiles learn what you're looking for. Thumbs up/down candidates and Scout will prioritize similar people in future searches.

LinkedIn Cookie

Scout needs your LinkedIn session cookie to search on your behalf.

  1. Open LinkedIn in Chrome and make sure you're logged in
  2. Press F12 (or right-click → Inspect) to open DevTools
  3. Click the Application tab at the top
  4. In the left sidebar, expand Cookies → click https://www.linkedin.com
  5. Find the cookie named li_at — double-click its Value and copy the entire string
  6. Find the cookie named JSESSIONID — copy its value too (it may have quotes around it, that's fine)
  7. Paste both below and click Save

Important: Session Behavior

When Scout uses your cookie, LinkedIn may log you out of your regular browser (it sees two sessions). This is normal. Just log back into LinkedIn in your browser when you need to β€” it won't affect Scout's session. If Scout stops working, grab a fresh cookie and paste it here again.

Daily Limits

Scout limits itself to 40 profile views per day to keep your LinkedIn account safe. This resets at midnight.

About Scout

Scout helps you find and track candidates without clicking around LinkedIn. It searches deterministically (real LinkedIn pages, not an API), with a small assist from AI to understand your queries and surface insights.

Your data stays on this server. Nothing is sent to LinkedIn beyond what a normal browser session would do.
